About the role
You will take a specified inventory or order workflow and produce the screens, empty states, and error states engineering can build. You will also sit with a recorded customer session and mark what the current UI makes hard. Remote contract. Visual polish matters less than a receiver being able to finish the job.
What you'll do
- Design flows for the ticket in front of you, including the failure states
- Produce specs engineering can implement without a second meeting for spacing and copy
- Review built UI against the spec on a narrow viewport
- File the design debt you are deliberately leaving
What we're looking for
- A portfolio of product UI for a business workflow, with your decisions explained
- You have worked inside an existing design system instead of inventing a new one each time
