About the role
You will watch session recordings and talk to a small number of operators, then write the problem in their words before proposing a screen. The output is a flow, the cases it must handle, and a recommendation product can accept or reject. Remote contract. You are not a separate research department.
What you'll do
- Run short interviews or recording reviews on a specific workflow
- Write the job the user is trying to finish, and where the product blocks it
- Propose a flow with the edge cases called out
- Check the shipped change against the original stuck point
What we're looking for
- UX work on a product with real users, shown as problems and decisions
- You can talk to a non-designer about a workflow without a slide deck

- Inventory, point of sale, or back-office tools
