Everything you need to manage expiry dates

All expiry tracking features are included in the free plan. No upgrade needed.

Expiry date per batch

Every receiving creates a batch with its own expiry date. One product can have multiple batches on the shelf — each with a different expiry.

Automatic expiry alerts

Get notified before batches expire. Configurable lead time so you know well in advance, not the day before.

FEFO fulfillment enforcement

When fulfilling orders, Count My Boxes directs your team to pick from the batch expiring soonest first — automatically, no manual lookup.

Multi-warehouse expiry tracking

Track expiry dates separately per warehouse. A batch at Warehouse A and the same product at Warehouse B are tracked independently.

Full batch traceability

See the complete movement history for any batch — where it was received, what orders it went into, and what's left.

Expiry reports

See all batches approaching expiry across your entire inventory in one view. Export for compliance or internal review.

What is FEFO and why does it matter?

FEFO — First Expired, First Out — means you always fulfill orders using the batch that expires soonest. Without it, your team might ship a newer batch while an older one with an imminent expiry date sits untouched. Eventually that older stock expires unsold.

Count My Boxes enforces FEFO automatically: when a sales order is being fulfilled, the system directs your team to pick from the batch with the earliest expiry first. You don't have to look it up — it's built into the fulfillment flow.

This matters most for food, beverages, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and any product with a regulatory or quality shelf life. It's the difference between waste and efficient stock rotation.
